The GBA School Awards® 2026 Opens Public Choice Award Voting: Celebrating Educational Excellence Across the Greater Bay Area

 The GBA School Awards® is proud to announce the commencement of public voting for the prestigious Public Choice Award 2026. Starting January 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM (GMT+8), members of the public and the education community are invited to cast their votes for the most innovative and impactful educational initiatives in the Greater Bay Area.

The GBA School Awards® serves as the premier platform for recognizing educational innovation. This year’s competition saw an overwhelming response, with over 130 submissions from nearly 60 schools and organizations across the region.

The voting period runs from January 26, 2026, to February 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM (GMT+8). Voters are encouraged to review the finalists on the voting page and rate the entries on a scale of 1 to 10. The voting process is entirely anonymous.

The 2nd GBA School Awards is now open for applications

Hong Kong – June 8, 2025– The GBA School Awards is back!  Riding on the success of it’s inaugural appearance in February 2025, the 2nd edition is now open for submissions. 

The GBA School Awards will take place in March 2026 in Hong Kong, and aims to celebrate schools, educators, and education service providers that are demonstrating outstanding contributions to the enhancement and development of educational practices in the Greater Bay Area.

It is now calling for schools and relevant entities across the region to get ready for their awards submissions – and be in the running to be one of the many winners for 22 categories open for application at this prestigious event – including a Public Choice Award category that will involve a public voting exercise in October 2025.

The awards are open to all schools as well as businesses and organizations that provide services to schools in the Greater Bay Area. This includes public and private institutions, as well as education suppliers and experiential learning providers.

The Greater Bay Area refers to: the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province.

首屆「大灣區教育卓越奬」頒奬禮在香港圓滿舉行,活動匯聚大灣區內的教育界精英和學術領䄂, 共同見證十八間來自粵、港、澳地區的學校及教育機構獲奬,表彰它們在不同教育領域追求創新和卓越的優秀表現。主辦單位並希望透過設立「大灣區教育卓越奬」,鼓勵學校資源的整合和共享,推動區內的優質教育實踐。

首屆「大灣區教育卓越奬」在香港舉行,共十八間來自粵、港、澳地區的學校,在不同教育領域憑創新和優異的表現獲嘉許。

Renaissance College’s Red Door Centre and Library Shine at Greater Bay Area School Awards

大家好,新的学期开始了,我又开始穿梭在探校访校、升学展等各种国际学校活动和庆典中了,继续给大家带来大湾区国际化学校的一手动态和深度观察。

前几天,我作为国际教育行业媒体代表去到香港,参加了首届大湾区教育卓越奖GBA School Awards。

这次的奖项评选由21C Learning(21CL)主办,颁奖典礼和晚宴在香港海港城的万丽海景酒店举行,为了表彰和庆祝大湾区国际教育机构和教育工作者的卓越贡献。

当天大约有85位来自40多家区域内的学校和机构代表,这也是我首次看到粤港澳佛等这么多个大湾区国际学校汇聚一堂、打破校与校之间的围墙进行行业交流互动,仿佛一个国际教育社区温馨热烈的春茗Party。

当天大约有85位来自40多家区域内的学校和机构代表,这也是我首次看到粤港澳佛等这么多个大湾区国际学校汇聚一堂、打破校与校之间的围墙进行行业交流互动,仿佛一个国际教育社区温馨热烈的春茗Party。

当天来了很多行业界的老朋友,包括广州加拿大外籍人员子女学校CIS、广州美校AISG、佛山LEH…同时也见到了一些之前还没来得及探访的新秀学校和“神校”如香港汉基等,大家齐聚一堂showcase自己的特色优势,真是“神仙打架”,都赶紧一一写到我的探校list里。

以上每个奖项类别都由独立的专家评审团进行严格评估,确保对所有提名进行全面、公正的审核。

颁奖典礼当天,几位嘉宾的发言也很精彩和有启发性,被提名的学校和教育机构都因其在教育创新和卓越发展方面的杰出贡献引起了社会的广泛关注。

会后,主办方让我作为行业媒体和家长谈谈感受和收获,其实通过今天这么多琳琅满目的奖项的设立,让我们更意识到:教育是一个多么深邃和多元的概念,它不只代表成绩、升学,更不代表QS100,而是存在非常多可能性和维度。

无论是在科技上的赋能高度、还是在保障学生身心健康和福祉层面上的人性和温度,每个梯队的每个学校都有其不可替代性、都有自己的亮点和特色。

它关乎于每一个独特的个体,关乎到每个家庭和孩子的细微确实的需求和不确定的未来。

这样的生态圈更预示着我们的社会将走向何处,让我们再一次学着放下包袱、抹掉光环,更长远地、淡然地去重新审视教育这件小事。

大灣區教育盛事】首屆教育卓越奬頒奬 18間學校及機構獲嘉許

首屆「大灣區教育卓越奬」頒奬禮近日在香港圓滿舉行,吸引了來自粵港澳地區的教育精英與學術領袖齊聚一堂,見證18間學校及教育機構的卓越表現。

由教育機構21st Century Learning (21CL) 創立的「大灣區教育卓越奬」,設有14個獎項類別,包括「最佳科技教育奬」、「最佳學習體驗奬」及「最健康校園奬」等,旨在鼓勵教育工作者在各自領域中追求卓越。首屆評選共收到來自超過40間國際學校及教育機構的80多份報名,經由海外教育學者組成的評審團選出得獎者。

來自香港的天主教慈幼會伍少梅中學榮獲「創新教學設施奬」,校長李建文表示,這個獎項是對學校在推動創新教育方面努力的肯定。他對「大灣區教育卓越奬」的成立表示歡迎,認為這是一個促進不同背景學校交流的平台,能夠共同提升教學質素。

主辦方21CL的創辦人Justin Hardman指出,大灣區是全球發展最迅速的地區之一,獎項不僅表彰教育工作者的努力,也希望激勵各類型學校分享經驗,攜手探索未來教育的方向,推動區內的教育創新與合作。

最新一個「大灣區教育」產物,叫做「 大灣區卓越教育奬 」,今年是首屆舉辦,開放予大灣區內的本地和國際學校參加,角逐十四個奬項,包括最佳學習體驗、最佳STEAM教育、最健康校園、最創新教學設施、最佳圖書館、最佳市場推廣方案等。入圍名單以國際學校為主,但也見到不少本地直資和津貼學校的身影,包括有香港的Band 3地區津貼中學,跟本地IB名校香港李寶椿聯合世界書院,以及國內老牌國際學校——廣州美國人外籍人員子女學校,齊齊入選某些大奬的最後四強,展示了大灣區教育的多元實力。

天主教慈幼會伍少梅中學校內有不同設施,豐富學生的學習經歷。該校在首屆「大灣區教育卓越奬」同時入圍「創新教育設施」奬。

就如我常常說,這個世界沒有「最好」的學校,只有「最適合」的學校,本地專門照顧學術成績弱勢學生的學校,在某些家長眼中一定不是「最好」,但它們在推動創新教學或STEAM教育的質素,其實可以跟國際學校的水平看齊。

這個首年舉辦的頒獎禮,收到來自大灣區內四十所學校近百份申請表,其中最受歡迎的是有關STEAM教育、多元學習體驗、以及學與教效能這三個範疇,從學校的踴躍反應,反映出大灣區內的教育潮流。

就如一直從事教育顧問工作的主辦單位分享,他們過去為大灣區內的國際學校舉辦過不少教育講座和培訓活動,STEAM教育和人工智能教學,一直都是熱門的題目,希望透過這個頒獎活動,能夠促進區內學校分享這個教育議題的最佳實踐和成功經驗,促進日後的合作和交流。
